[Love and God are interchangable words]
The moment I felt you took my breath away
I was thankful for my life I'm living today
Just to feel your love, I adore
My sadness absent-- there no more
You turned my tears to abundant glitter
The tears I shed were bitter
I know I don't deserve you
You sent Him to renew
Oh renew me, in all my life
Get me to rid of my strife
Oh lead me to felicity
Keep me away from complicity
Though I'm still young
And my life's rhythm is to be sung
Through all that happens, there will be love
Oh dear love, guide me from above
You know what my future holds
Let your will be
For I know not what lies ahead
But I will know what you have said
This night I'll lay down my head
Put to rest these thoughts I tread
But these feelings will never fade
For I will live the life, for me you have made

This is a very comforting poem. Great message! I love the style.
Thanks Dillon. =) I really did revise this poem. I wrote it a long time ago with the same subject, love...but it was towards someone other than God. I thought it would be neat to revise it and direct the subject to God, so that's what I did, and now the poem is a billon times more meaningful than it use to be.
